Reggie’s Retro Record Store Event

Reggie's Retro Record Store launches its first ever official Record Store Day event programme as a new participant for 2023.

Opening at 9am, along with new RSD exclusives for purchase, the day's line up includes :

12 :00pm: THE MISSING HEADS

A special Ventnor performance from The Missing Heads!

The Missing Heads burst on to the Island's music scene from the main stage at the Isle of Wight Garlic Festival last summer, displaying confidence and panache that belied the tender ages of the five band members. The rock band has since attracted a huge following on social media and at their live gigs.

Their set list evokes memories of those early days of raw magic when the first few songs were dropped by bands such as Arctic Monkeys, The Strokes and The Kooks with TMH taking on those heady sounds and cool riffs and injecting their own passion and excitement into the live performance.

Expect covers from the indie rock scene - from Reptilia to Brianstorm - with the volume turned up!

1.30pm: BETHAN JOHN

Bethan John is an outstanding singer/songwriter, producer and performer from the Isle of Wight who has been working with multiple artists and appearing at multiple venues in the past year. She has also recently released her first EP. Her set includes some awesome covers and some stunning originals.

Bethan first came to our notice during Ventnor Fringe Festival last summer, playing a number of sets during the festival including in store at Reggie's Retro.

If you haven't seen her live before, this really is a "don't miss" moment.

Throughout the day: DJ VINYL LIONEL

DJ Vinyl Lionel returns to Reggie's with several banging sets throughout the day filled with a range of electronic, soul, hip hop and Northern Soul belters. Foot tapping guaranteed!

Plus we will have a licensed bar stocked with the RSD exclusive Meantime Double Groove Beer, and special discounts available on all non RSD vinyl records in store.
