How has lockdown affected your shop?
Well, we've got a tiny shop as it is so we just ask people to wait until less than 3 people are in at once. We've begun doing live streams so people can enjoy our sets from the comfort of their own homes!
It's a good vibe all round! celebrating and talking about music is always good, the whole thing is a pretty positive experience!
Le Freak Records is a daft wee record shop in Dundee that aims not to take itself too seriously. We stock a bit of everything but pride ourselves on our unique dance music selection. We do instore gigs, play Dj sets all around the country and aim to have as good a time as possible whilst we still can!
We're named after a Chic song. Think that sums us up perfectly!
Events Coming Up
Record Store Day is upon us once again and we've got another bumper Saturday lined up for you with some of the city's finest selectors spinning in the booth (Line-up yet to be announced), exclusive RSD vinyls and merch (might even have some special Le Freak stuff too) plus 10% off all non RSD new vinyl on the day!
