



30th September: We’re excited to announce that the winner of Record Store Day and Sound Performance’s Unsigned competition, Sister Cookie, will be heading out on a special record store tour this November to launch her incredible debut album ‘In the Blue Corner'.
Sister Cookie will be visiting some of the most iconic record stores in the country to play tracks from her new release, starting out at Elsewhere Records in Margate before heading to Jumbo Records in Leeds, Rough Trade in Nottingham and many more.
‘In The Blue Corner’ comes out on special edition turquoise sparkle vinyl on 5th November and is limited to just 500 copies. It will be sold exclusively in indie record stores, and you can pre-order your copy here!
The Record Store Day Unsigned competition’s panel of judges, including Frank Carter and The Rattlesnakes, Spillers Records, So Young Magazine and Sound Performance said of Sister Cookie: “The most original sound. Like Little Richard, Mark Ronson, Nina Simone and Nick Cave all got locked in a New Orleans speakeasy” and she's been getting some great support from Cerys Matthews and Mark Radcliffe on BBC Radio 2 & 6Music and is just starting to promote the latest single from the record - Crucify - have a listen and watch the video below:
